Pasta
Typically Italian is probably this incomparably rich selection of pasta in the cupboard of the common Italian. Even students do not just cook spaghetti, as this photo of my Couchsurfing trip 2010 shows. There are strict rules, because not every sauce fits every form and the tradition does not allow any compromises. Chickpea soup, broth or tomato sauce, ragout or pesto, pasta short or long, narrow or wide, round or angular. A science in itself.
language diversity
Working on a beautiful new calendar, this time a sorbian version. Feeding the vocabulary memory.
a special gift
The days are getting shorter, the jackets are getting thicker and, again, we review the old year. How fast are the past weeks and months gone!
Let’s rest for a moment and hold the most beautiful moments until next year!
Month by month, we browse through the new calendar and wonder how the children are grown again.
This year again I prepared a few beautiful designs – only your best pictures are missing!
Cheesecake: Eierschecke
This is the best German cheesecake recipe from Saxony!
You can add raisins, but you don’t have to.
Europeada 2016
Tomorrow there will be the group draw for the Europeada 2016 in South Tyrol. Great to be part of it again!
Christmas cookies
Typical german, at least in my family, it is that on the first Advent we bake and decorate Christmas biscuits together. With these sweet treats the long waiting for the Christmas becomes a little easier.
first visit of Befana
The best thing about multicultural life is that we take all the holidays and customs from both sides.
Tonight the witch Befana paid us a visit.
